We adopted two 7-year-old brothers from the fine folks at the Upper Credit Humane Society. From the second day in their new home, they started using this cat tree. It's in front of a window where they can watch our bird feeders, and they love it! It took a few days for them to feel confident enough to get up on the top bed, but now it's their favourite place to nap. It's stable and well constructed, and not hard to assemble. The sleek design looks good in our living room. The top bed is large enough for the 16.5 lb cat. Thank you for making such a wonderful product.
Assembly was fast and easy. Our cat was in need of a new tree to watch birds and cuddle. We hadn’t even placed it next to the window yet when he was already taking his first nap. The scratching posts are also good quality and good for his claws. It’s a very good tree to add more height and scratching placed for any cat.
Really easy to assemble, and the modular nature meant that I could adjust the platforms so that it had a smaller footprint. The foster cat loves it, and it's really increased his confidence in jumping and climbing (even if he is kind of a klutz and managed to roll off the top the first night).
Cons: Wood does not appear to be sealed against liquids, and the small platform without a cushion is as slippery as other reviews have warned - klutz cat skittered right over it and faceplanted into the patio door. I had some adhesive-backed carpet squares from another project, so I just added one to that platform. Sadly it doesn't match the rest of the tower, but it works great.
(Klutz cat is fine and has not repeated his mishaps.)
My almost four year old Grandson helped me build this tree. We had no problems at all! Now the kitties are absolutely loving it!
I can not say enough good things about this cat tree. My cat, Lumi, absolutely loves it. At first she wasn’t too sure about it, but now she sleeps on all the levels (prefers the top perch the best). It was really easy to assemble and I love the look of it, especially when comparing it to carpeted cat trees. I am very pleased with my purchase and highly recommend this product to other kitty parents!
